Hello neighbors,

Wanted to remind you of two opportunities to help guide the City of Bellevue in designing improvement projects around the Vuecrest area:

The City of Bellevue has allocated $315,000 in Neighborhood Enhancement funds to be spent in the Northwest Bellevue area, which includes Vuecrest. The kickoff meeting for this effort is tonight from 6:30-8:00p at the Northwest Arts Center (9825 NE 24th Street). This is a great opportunity for Vuecrest neighbors to learn about this program and to help design projects that can enhance our community. For more information, see https://planning.bellevuewa.gov/community-development/neighborhoods/neighborhood-improvement/neighborhood-enhancement-program/

Also, tomorrow is the deadline for submitting comments on proposed improvements along NE 100th. The current proposal includes improved intersection safety, sidewalks, bike lanes, and traffic calming. The proposed designs can be found here: https://transportation.bellevuewa.gov/UserFiles/Servers/Server_4779004/File/Transportation/Publications/100thDesignBoards.pdf, and you can submit your comments through the online survey here: http://sgiz.mobi/s3/100thAveCompleteStreets2

  Hope you can participate,

   -Jonathan
