I went to the railroad trail this morning, hoping to find the tricolored Heron that’s been seen in the area. No luck with the heron, but when I reach the end of the trail, I tried listening for seaside sparrows. No luck with that either, but I did hear what I think is a Nelson’s sparrow song. It’s sang repeatedly and I saved the recording on Merlin, which I will post to my email report later. Jack Swatt
