As you are probably aware, today is the official "National Absurdity Day" to go along with what has been an absurd year! But there is some good news... We have Gators racing in an actual IRONMAN event this weekend! So download the IRONMAN Tracker app and get ready for a day full of sending good Gator vibes across the border! And if you are not racing in Cozumel, do something else absurd such as joining up with Patty Trainer's "Over the River, Through the Woods, and Up the Mountain" ride (see "Events" for details) on perhaps our last warm and sunny Saturday of the year or swimming in our Friday or Sunday morning workout! And once you have completed your mission, celebrate one of our other national holidays this weekend including National Peanut Butter Fudge Day (today), National Gingerbread Cookie Day (Saturday), or National Cranberry Relish Day (Sunday)! So who's racing on Sunday?... • IRONMAN Cozumel (Cozumel, Mexico): Both Brian Kozera and Jon Wesler bring a return to Gators racing in IRONMAN events! They will be adding this to their past IRONMAN finishes at courses such as Louisville KY, Lake Placid NY, Chattanooga TN, Florida, and even Austria! Gator Done, guys, and then, as Brian often tells us... Enjoy a few cervezas! Also, a special shoutout to Shawn O'Malley who has been on a mission to complete his first IRONMAN 70.3 event this year and has continued to train through multiple event cancellations including, most recently, this Sunday's rescheduled IRONMAN Texas 70.3. Shawn... Stick with it, keep that fitness that you've worked so hard to achieve, and when you finally do get a chance to race, it'll be even sweeter! Have a great weekend!
