01/07/15 - Southbury, River Road, Mitchell Farm -- One first cycle
Iceland Gull this morning as I drove by on the way to work.
Bent of the River -- Two Purple Finches at the feeders at the Bent in
the morning.

01/07/15 - Southbury, River Road -- The Mew Gull and Greater
White-fronted Goose were on the river at 11 AM. The gull flew.

From Patrick Comins, Ken Elkins, Ron Pelletier, and Russ Naylor:
01/07/15 - Southbury, River Road, Mitchell Farm -- 12:30; the Mew Gull
(aka Common Gull) was on the river.  It was actually on the lawn
across the river near the real estate sign.  It briefly landed on the
river a bit closer to us.  The Greater White-fronted Goose was present
(close to shore among the Canada Geese).

01/07/15 - Westport, Burying Hill Beach -- Lesser Black-backed Gull
continues on the beach at the edge of the water.

01/07/15 - 1 Black Vulture, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 2 Common Raven, 3 Fox
Sparrow.

01/07/15 - Hartford, Riverside Park Boat Launch -- 10 NORTHERN
PINTAIL.

01/07/15 - Greenwich -- Redhead seen from the little bridge on Oneida
Drive in Greenwich (off Steamboat Road), shadowing an annoyed-looking
Black Duck.

01/07/15 - New London. New London Pier -- Juv Glaucous Gull sitting on
fence, benches, etc at the pier, Very relaxed and tame.
