BEST WISHES FOR A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL FINISH... ... to all Gators with an event this weekend! It's an "event-full" weekend on both Saturday and Sunday with club sponsor events featuring Gators and Gator Tots! And besides that there are workout opportunities both days including Patty Trainer's "Full (or part) Monty" ride on Saturday morning (see "Events" for details) and Sunday's SVY indoor lap pool uncoached group swim (the full pool is ours between 11:15am-12:15pm... Let's fill it!) plus Friday's uncoached group swim (10:15am-11am)! So what are the two club events?... Saturday, September 26: Scoogie Snyder and Scoogie Events offer the "7th Annual Peace Valley Duathlon" and new "Kids Rock Duathlon". We have four Gator Tots participating including Jack Epelbaum, Juliana Kelecic, Katie Kelecic, and Haley Raab! Sunday, September 27: David Michener and Steelman Racing are back with what has traditionally been one of our club's most popular events, the "Steelman Triathlon"! At last count there were two Gators participating with both following up on their recent successful finishes at the Gators DIY Tri... Sean Lodge will be completing the Olympic Tri and Matt Ritter, participating in his first official non-Gator DIY-branded tri, takes on the Sprint distance tri! Also, Ruth Subach and Colman Byrne are participating in the "Walk to Fight Alzheimer's" (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ)! And the virtual Broad Street Run wraps up this weekend (September 12-28) with at least nine Gators either having already completed their runs or planning to do so by Monday including Jill Basile, Teresa Byrne, Karen Dieciedue, Allie Doyle, Angela Epelbaum, Meg Huang, Paul Kratzinger, Sheri Kuss, Renee Schuck, Michele Stroba, and Rachel Truckley!
