Bob Quandt was a fixture of many of our early shows here, both he and his wife Jean supporting Newfoundland events throughout the Midwest from their home in northern Illinois.

They were the sort of people we all wanted to become – friendly, welcoming, encouraging and supportive.  I’ll always remember Bob with a smile on his face, win or lose, and willing to help and encourage anyone and everyone to get to know the greatest breed in the world, the Newfoundland.
