I don't agree with not shutting down the engine. We shut down ours to do
routine oil changes on schedule. One should be sure that the batteries are
up, that you have an extra starter and go on with it. How many times have
people had engines fail to start that they could not fix within a few minutes?
(air in a fuel line, bad starter, eletrical problem?)
