Question about Firearms on Public Transit Systems

A member represents a public transit company.  The question is posed to others who do so as well.  After the Supreme Court decision in New York Rifle & Pistol Assoc. v. Bruen , it is an open question as to whether firearms, whether or not permitted concealed carry, can be barred from buses and other public transit.  The member would like to know whether, if your transit client has to-date prohibited weapons on its vehicles and transportation system, it is changing its policy to allow concealed firearms if the carrier has a permit.  If so, are you checking for permits, to allow all weapons - i.e. open carry and ride.  Or are you keeping your policy for the time being? Please include a copy of the pertinent aspect of such policy.  You can forward your responses to me at akarras@imla.orgmailto:akarras@imla.org and I will pass them along.
