Power Catamaran Rally

Is there any interest out there for a Power Catamaran Rally of some sort
this fall in SE Florida?

There is ignorance and many misconceptions about Power Catamarans and I
would like to create some positive PR.  And basically, I just want an
excuse to get together with a bunch of boaters and have a great time.

I'm open to pretty much anything, from a raft up in Lauderdale, to a shot
over to the Bahamas or even a little side trip up to Bermuda.(its only a
few days!)

Anyone else out there want to just get out on the water?

Mike,

Interesting idea, but if memory serves me correctly (and it often doesn't)
Bemuda must be on the order of 800 nautical miles from the U.S. Atlantic
coast.  While some can do it, isn't that beyond the safe reach of most power
catamarans?

Henry, please jump in here, because I do admire the fuel economy (amongst
other things) of the PDQ, but isn't this distance too far for SnoDog?

Take care all . . . .

John

Sounds like fun. We haven't made a plan for that time of year yet. So if we
know ahead of time we'll try to make it.
We are currently in St. Petersburg, checking out the west coast, Everglades
and Keys, until April.
