This is the second time a swap meet will be held at the VOA, so the event is still establishing itself. The first event was well attended by members of local radio clubs, and there were some goodies to be had, but the gathering was small. Everyone sets up inside the east garage of the transmitter building, so the meet will occur rain or shine.
The building will be open so your students can see the museum displays and the remaining high power HF transmitter. If Jim or myself are around, we can open up the shed that houses the 10 GHz EME station so they can see that set up. We won't have the moon, but they can see the haywire lash up we put together.

Hi Guys!
Is it worth driving up from Morehead for the swap meet, do they have a good
turn out? Is the museum open earlier in the day? Thought I might bring
some of our new hams up, just had 12 students get their tickets here! We are
highly encouraging our space science kids to become hams!
