Yeah that's right, but interference we usually care about is in band,
so the rejection is useful only to deal with things like AM stations
and NDBs. Wideband interference is usualy the job of the receiver to
deal with, unless a specific application like say trying to hear a weka
signal next to a transmitter (a pin drop next to an RB211 at WOT) .
Narrow bandwidth is a hinderence for environments with wide bandwidth
pulses (like power line arcs).
I am doing a new 85kHz system, and while the Q ~ 5 assists with out of
band, it's only 2nd order, and I have to be careful of aliases with the
digital receiver of things like AM radio stations, NDBs etc.

This is one reason tuned loop/loopsticks are popular - the reasonably
high Q resonance suppresses out of band signals.
I have seen this video, parts 1 and 2.
This gentlemen also has a webpage where he advertises manufacturing and selling this exact same antenna.

I emailed him a while back (before Covid) and he never responded.

Have you come across these fascinating YouTube videos by W1VLF? They may be of interest to you.

Resor Suggest you try emailing him again. Those are good videos. Though not
having a lathe I tend to hand wind my coils. I like his glue method. I tend
to bundle them or one way or another heat shrink them together.
Hand winding is not that hard. Just ensure you put a bit of tape on the
wire wraps every 20-30 turns. Nothing worse than the loops jumping off.
Also don't use the thinnest wire. Maybe 24-28 gauge. Easier to handle. You
can put a lot of turns on in an evening.
Have we taken over someone else thread?? I apologize.
