A member is asking if anyone has a successful attorney emeritus program, or provide for one by ordinance . They have a helpful retired City Attorney who has been able to provide some assistance to us, but with the cost of being solo, especially malpractice insurance, the arrangement may not continue. They are also interested in other suggestions on how to be able to keep a willing retired attorney engaged in a way that makes financial sense for both parties.
