WRIA 10/12 is Seeking Pre-proposals for the 2013 Salmon Recovery Funding Board Grant Round !
Salmon habitat restoration projects in the Puyallup River or Chambers-Clover Watersheds (WRIA's 10 and 12) may be eligible for funding under the Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) program. If you have a potential project that you would like to have considered for funding in one of these watersheds for the 2013 grant round, your project must be entered into Habitat Work Schedule database no later than April 24, 2013 to ensure it is included in the Puget Sound Partnership 3 - year list (more details on this step below). As you are aware the state budget has not been finalized. At this point our best estimate is that the SRFB funding amount for our combined watersheds will be approximately $562,000, which is the funding level we have had the last two years.
