Jim...Please post this to the MVUS list. Later I will send it to LWTG.

Thanks.

Tom Holmes, N8ZM

When I arrived home after our last meeting, I had a phone call from MVUS
member and good friend Merle Rummel, W9LCE. Merle is now 82 and is doing
well but has had to move in with his daughter and needs to clear out a large
collectioin of gear from his basement so he can sell his house. It is an
amazing collection of mostly Heatkit gear, sometimes multiple copies. I've
attached the list.

Merls' first challenge is simply to get it out of the basement; no small
task if you've looked at his list. When he was able to be more active, Merle
did a lot for MVUS, so I'd like to find a way to help him out.

Please look over the list and let me know if you are interested in any of
it. I'll get you in touch with Merle from there.

Thanks.

Tom, N8ZM.

Tom...

I am interested in several items on the list, like the DX100 and the home brew amps.  I can also help carry stuff up from the basement to get it on the main floor of the house or into the garage so purchasers can pick it up.

Let me know what your plans are for moving the gear out of the basement.

are two, although maybe not complete.
