Randy, many thanks for that link to the first version of "Calibration in Practice"!! 1980 was about the time, when I had my first job in a calibration lab, and these technologies, instruments and that level of accuracy / uncertainty described there was just implemented in the airforce lab I worked in. Great historic stuff.. and several of those then expensive vintage instruments I have a my home now.. Frank
