Atlantes Freedom Toilet problem with dry flush

Hi All,

These toilets - we have had two for four years and live aboard full time
and they have not failed us until now.

However one of them sounds terrible and is challenged especially during dry
flush but in general as well.

Intake sea water is fine so no pump probkem. Sounds like the onboard
macerator but that's just a guess.

My plan is to perform a 45 minute acid wash (we also have electroscan - so
this is normal maintenance) and hope that something foreign is lodged in
the macerator that responds to the acid treatment.

If that doesn't work does anyone have an idea?  Thanks.
