It has been a very good day for birding so far in the Park. About 20 species of warblers have been noted.There was not much of a reverse movement but at the Tip but several interesting species were recorded. That included a female PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, a GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, a CERULEAN WARBLER, several SCARLET TANAGER, a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD, and a WHITE-EYED VIREO.
In Sparrow Field an EASTERN WHIP-POOR-WILL was found roosting.

On Woodland Trail, birders found PURPLE FINCH, YELLOW-THROATED VIREO, PROTHONOTORY WARBLER, ALDER FLYCATCHER, and a number of common warbler species.

Redbud Trail had an EASTERN TOWHEE.

Tilden Woods produced a lot of interesting species, including RUSTY BLACKBIRD, SANDHILL CRANE (flyover), and many common warblers and other species.

At Delaurier, a CERULEAN WARBLER was seen.

There has been a flight of raptors into the Park, including BROAD-WINGED HAWK, RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, and RED-TAILED HAWK.
