I noticed the Xintex solenoid for the galley propane is quite warm to the touch . Is that indicating a problem or just normal .

MY 30 year old (brand unknown) gets hot to the touch after it's been on for
a while. A while back the indicator light was out and I left it on for a
full day (or more) and it was so hot you couldn't hold your hand on it. I
suppose that's somewhat normal.
I'll be curious of others experience.

I believe propane solenoids pull around 9-10 watts when on, thus will get
warm to the touch when activated. It's my understanding that if it starts
to get much hotter, it is probably starting to fail. Let's see if there are
other thoughts on this.

They get pretty warm to hot. Normal. As an aside, it takes current to produce heat, you’ll conserve power if you use the monitor panel to shut off the gas when not in use.
