All hands--

Development continues on the interesting wind-assisted Aventure passagemaker:

Writes Tim Jordaan, company director: "The huge asymmetrical with
socks are not a problem, it
is still the kite, but that will be sorted. The expectations as per
the VPP program gives us good speeds of 8 to 12 knots on reaching
conditions in 15 to 20 knots of true wind.

"So, as a proper power catamaran that can top 23 knots under power,
and more if need be, she still sails extremely well in the right
conditions. Truly a great long-range true power catamaran."

Aventure now has a new site at
http://www.aventure-powercatamaran.com showcasing its four models
built in South Africa.
