Dear Phil, I read with great interest your comment about the Suzuki 140 HP always having problems. I am considering purchasing a 40' power cat, displacing about 12000 Lbs, with 2 Suzuki 140. I will appreciate getting details of the troubles you have had. I would like to know too. I have had many suzuki's . Had a 140 on a water taxi 30 passenger pontoon, ran it everyday and never gave a hiccup. Have a neighbor with one on his boat that sits on the lift for 6 months at a time, and it fires right up when he comes down. Have a DT 100 now and not in love with it.
