Steve Lagoy, A few years back, I lived on my boat on the Erie Canal, and still operated my business. Once each week, my employees would fedex me a fat envelope addressed to a nearby canal lock or lift bridge and the operators would hold them for me. And a number of local folks that I became friends with also left me letters with lock operators. I thought that arrangement was rather cool, and it made all the difference for me.
