*Please forward to any interested fire performers.

Hey fellow fire dancers.

Are you bummed that all of our New Year's Eve gigs are canceled this year?

Are you just itching to get outside in sub-freezing weather, not wearing
enough clothing, and light stuff on fire?

I am putting together a compilation video of fire performers doing what we
love to do and will be releasing it on New Year’s Eve.

We’ll be dancing to “One More Time” by Daft Punk.

You can listen and dance to it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGBhQbmPwH8

MAIN VIDEO:

I'll need at least 20 seconds for editing purposes (each person usually
gets about 11-17 seconds or so) but feel free to dance the whole thing.
It's helpful if you do not mouth the words because it looks funny if
everyone is singing the chorus and they're shown in different parts of the
video mouthing the wrong words.

TRANSITIONS:

In addition to 20 seconds of performance, We need an intro and an outro.

Please start out with your fire up close to the camera then back away and
start performing. At the end of your 20 seconds, move the flame back up to
the camera. This will be our transition between dancers, fire in/fire out.

If you haven't already seen them, here are the last compilation videos we
did; they were great fun.

And the silly one “Stayin Alive” video a friend and I did one day that
started it all.

Please send me your video to thewildcelticrose@gmail.com by 5:00 PM on
December 27th. If you can send it before then, please so I can edit as we
go along.

If you don't have a Gmail email address, which will convert the video to a
Google Drive file and send a link if it's too big, you can use Dropbox or
any other file sharing service such as We Transfer

CREDITS:

Along with your video, please send along your name and stage name (whatever
you want to appear on the screen)

Again, please send me your video sooner rather than later, so I’m not
editing like crazy at the last minute.

Please email me with any questions, and/or if you want a reminder during
this busy holiday season.

*Please note, this is not a paying gig. The video won’t (and can’t due to
copyright) be monetized. I am volunteering my time to create something to
bring us, and others some small bit of joy and happiness during the dark
season.

I am doing one of these per month. After this is released, I will put out
the call for February. It will be open to all who want to dance and be
silly (non dancers welcome and encouraged ) We will be dancing to a song
that makes fun of love, because…  Valentines Day.
