From Aidan Kiley: 03/08/15 - Fairfield -- As of 4:25, there were 10 Black Vultures (and 15 Turkey Vultures) circling over parking lot at Trader Joe's in Fairfield. Minutes later, 10-15 of them flew into trees on Stilson Road. They were in conifers on the edge of the parking lot. These birds allowed great views through scope as well as pictures. From Maryann Nazarchyk: 03/08/15 - Norwich, at the Cathedral -- Got out of my car on Broadway and immediately noticed a Turkey Vulture on a roof. As I looked around I could see nearly every house on the street had a Vulture on it's chimney, warming itself. Some were Black Vultures, some were Turkey Vultures. Pulled out my binoculars and could see many more in the tall pine trees. Don't know if this is a regular occurance but it gave great close looks at the heads of the two diffent types.
