Once upon a time, we connected to share space and stories in person and
online.

Due to Covid, these days we hope to continue to foster relationships built
on the mutual admiration of the written word virtually through our online
literary site and regular online literary gatherings.

Now that autumn has officially settled in, we wanted to find a new way to
lure readers and writers from behind their keyboards and decided it was
time for a little treasure hunt.

We know Tacoma loves a good treasure hunt.

With that said, Creative Colloquy is now accepting submissions with the
theme: Glimmers of Light.

We want short stories, poems and essays that take a deep dive into social
and cultural issues in our community, lives lived and survival & self care
during a pandemic transformed into glimmers of light to be discovered.

Selected submissions will be printed and placed in glass bottles that will
be “hidden” around town to be found. Ultimately the idea is to place a
spotlight on South Sound scribes while also sharing stories and nourishing
narratives in a season where a glimmer of good can make all the difference.
