Hi,

My wife and I will be visiting the Miami and Daytona Beach area from Dec
8th to the 22nd.

I would like to look at some power catamarans like the PDQ
series.  We are not limited to the mfg or designer.  In fact at this stage of
our planning, the more we see the better.

We are from the opposite coast and
have not physically been on any power cats.  Any information or suggestions
about where to go or who to contact would be appreciated.  We are not buying
now, just getting educated and used to the idea of retiring on a boat for 6
months a year.

Thanks in advance for the help.

We  appreciate it alot!
Also any book suggestions would be appreciated.  Assume I have no nautical
books and you can't go wrong!  The topics would cover design, electrical,
plumbing, building, nautical seamanship etc.

Hi Brian

For all-round systems information you will be hard pressed to beat Nigel
Calder's Boatowner's Mechanical & Electrical Manual published in UK by
Adlard Coles (in USA it might be International Marine)

ISBN 0-7136-7226-9

Make sure it's the third edition.

Bon chance
