Kaskaskia Lock MM 117 on Miss River

Just pulled into Kaskaski Lock with another Looper -
CAUTION - today there is currently only room for TWO or possibly THREE boats
here. The Army Corps has large barges in here that are taking up most of the
mooring along the concrete floating dock. You will need LONG LINES here to
tie up to the angular steel supports. No cleats are available. your lines
will have to reach all the way across the dock, about 20 ft or so.

Fern tells me another boater was going on down the Miss River to try an
anchorage at MM 75 called BIG MUDDY. It is marked on Active Captain.
