All,
With the new exec, we have been tracking player dues very closely and have offered the club an option of a player sponsorship through the Old boy community.

We currently have 3 players that have approached the club for support. These players have already demonstrated their commitment to the team but in return for sponsorship the club expects that these players must Complete at least 2 of the following this Fall:

Run Water and Tees for an old boys match

Line, set up, and break down the field on home match day
Volunteer for a harlequin event Banquet, Auction, or Other TBD
Volunteer as touch Judge for a match

Let me know directly if you are interested in sponsoring a player.

Ill pay the $250 for one of them. Send me a link or info on where to pay it. Many people helped me along the way during my rugby career. Someday many of you active players will be old and fat like me! Never forget what this sport has done for you in the past and can do for you in the future.

Old Boys, we need to continue to support this club. What amazing changes that have been made over the years. Its come a very long way in the 20 years i have been involved. We can do much more but we all know this takes money. Successful clubs have always had 4 main ingredients if you ask me.

Numbers at practice and a real coach staff. We currently seem to have both.
Winning. The more you win the more fun it is and the more people want to play for your club. This has gotten better over the years.
Money. Without it you cant do the things you need like travel and buy real equipment.
Recruitment. We need to be much better about this. Many of us played college rugby in our past. Can you imagine if we all got one good player to move to Denver and play for us yearly? Can we find them housing and a job? This club provided me both in 1994 and I'm still here to this day. Keep in mind, i lived in NY when this happened.

This is my rant for the day. I will donate. I encourage other old boys to send what they have.

I would like to know who i am sponsoring. GO QUINS!
