I’m not sure the original poster was criticizing AGLCA for being a .org
As pointed out the Stobs who founded the org kept the greatloop.com URL and still use it today
SNIP: I am new to this forum as of yesterday, but have been a member of AGLCA
since 2002. I have been on several boards of non-profit organizations such
as Goodwill Industries. The difference between a non-profit and a for
profit is that non-profits whose revenues exceed expenses call that
difference a "surplus". If a non-profit doesn't have occasional surpluses
it will cease to exist. I don't see any problem with AGLCA using
greatloop.org
