He has been described as “exciting, endlessly creative, and looking like a Muppet when he plays” by Earshot Jazz, Keyboard Magazine, and The Stranger respectively. After graduating with a music degree from Cornish College of The Arts in 2003, Willis has gone on to perform and record with internationally acclaimed musicians such as, Julian Priester, Hadley Caliman, Mike McCready, Duff McKagan, Barret Martin, Skerik, Wayne Horvitz, Mark Pickerel, and, Star Anna to name a few. Jacques currently resides in Seattle, WA, where he regularly performs with many of the Pacific Northwest’s finest artists. Sunday September 20th at 6pm The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra will be doing a live stream performance. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and Adam Kessler on drums. The live stream will take place outdoors and we will all be safely socially distanced.
