This query posed in standing-around-at-a-conference-chatting mode.
Does anyone know of any studies of debates within organizations about what kinds of news/info from/to whom is appropriate on various of the organizations communication nets? For example, hammering out a policy of who can use an "all-fac" email address and for what, or what's appropriate for the department list or the cell phone tree, etc. I see and hear about such struggles all the time, but I don't recall seeing anything interesting written about them.
Thanks in advance, especially if you can plug your very own paper!
