Replacing fuel filter with Racor

I am replacing my old FRAM fuel filter with a Razor filter. The Racor 500 assembly costs about $210, but there’s a Chinese knock-off for $55. The knock-off appears to be identical.

Are there any known problems with the Chinese knock-off?

Thanks,

Not “Razor” but “Racor."

I can only say that I have found through my boating experiences that you tend to get what you pay for, and in something as critical as my fuel system where I might be betting my life on its performance, I would not cut any corners.  Is 155 dollars really that big a part of your budget for what is really a luxury toy (at least that is what my boat is to me)?
