Subject: [IOI] Reasonable Costs - Project Update - Workflow Publications Released
Dear colleagues,
Thank you for your participation and interest in IOI’s “Reasonable Costs”https://investinopen.civicrm.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=1889&qid=26086 project. We write today with some important updates and the release of some new publications from the project.
First: We have finished two products related to the “workflows” part of our project focusing on how public access policies fit into institutional policies, services, and research workflows. The first product is a synthesis of the survey responses titled Between the Memo and the Mandate: Institutional Perspectives on Public Access Readinesshttps://investinopen.civicrm.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=1890&qid=26086.
The second product is Preparing for Public Access: Mapping Institutional Workflows for Sponsored Research Successhttps://investinopen.civicrm.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=1891&qid=26086. This is a document that includes a methodology and an overview of our findings, as well as guidance for how to reproduce our workflow research. This product is accompanied by a packet of example workflows from our institutional collaborators.
We have a blog posthttps://investinopen.civicrm.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=1895&qid=26086 outlining these releases. Please share with your networks!
Second: We have recently updated our project landing pagehttps://investinopen.civicrm.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=1892&qid=26086 with the latest series of presentations and publications related to the project. We enjoyed meeting some of you at ACRL, Library Publishing Forum, Open Repositories, and other events recently. If you have a conference or webinar series that you think would be an interesting outlet for this project, please send us a note!
We look forward to finishing up this project by the end of the summer and will be in touch with additional materials and an invitation to our project wrap-up event at the end of August. Thank you again for joining us for this work, and please be in touch with any questions or comments that you might have. We always look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Lauren, on behalf of the whole team at IOI
