Quick logistical notes

Quins,

A few quick logistical notes:

  1. Ollie has been selected to replace Perna as the backs selector. Perna is unable to attend Tues trainings, so he felt it would be best to hand this responsibility off to someone that can attend more regularly.

  2. Contact one or both selectors as soon as possible if you will miss training or a match. This is very important. Remember: only "valid" reasons will be excused. Valid reasons include things like; mandatory work/class obligations, family emergencies, the flu, and legal matters. NOT included are things like; birthdays, anniversaries, ball games, moving, helping to move, a cold, and minor injuries.  There are always exceptions, (we know life happens) but in-general, these are the criteria we use to evaluate "valid" reasons. If you have questions/comments regarding this criteria please contact a member of the executive committee.

  3. If you can arrive to training early, then please do. We would like to start practicing basic skills, reviewing calls, and warming up prior to 6:30 so we're ready to roll at 6:30 sharp.  Being early also gives you an opportunity to engage the coaching staff and/or selectors. This is the best time to talk to these individuals.

Cheers,

Casey

All,
Just as a followup to Casey's last point, one area that we are trying to work on is transparency. Coach Pete has no issues chatting with anyone about any of his decisions or observations nor do any of the coaches for that matter.
If you have any questions about individual performance or position please turn up to training early and chat with them.

Thanks,
Tom-
