Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 7 hours
Official Counter: Tom Bolohan
Observers: Dave Brown, Ernie Gribble, Ken Wootton
Visitors:
Just a couple of visitors today along with the counters. Thanks to everyone
who helped out.
Weather:
A good mix of sun and cloud today making spotting the birds much easier.
Temps ranged from 2C to 16C. Winds were moderate SE to ESE for the day.
Raptor Observations:
Another decent flight today with a total of 760 birds including several
more Golden Eagles and a couple of N. Goshawks. Also quite a few Redtails
and Shoulders.
Non-raptor Observations:
None reported today.
Predictions:
Looks like rain for Monday... then right back into southerly winds starting
Tuesday. Once the rain moves through there will likely be flights a bit
inland similar to those this past weekend.
