Setting Sail: After life of hard work, this West Frankfort couple
begins a second on the sea

WEST FRANKFORT - The Turners are typical of Southern Illinois - a
no-frills, hard-working family that has lived to serve others first.

That's why their 26-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, was shocked when they
announced two years ago that they were selling off the land they had
spent a lifetime developing.

sail on a new life aboard a custom-made luxury catamaran.

"She thought at first we were going through a midlife crisis," says
mom Melody Turner, 53.

If the stately sea vessel - with two queen-sized bedrooms, a pilot
house, kitchen, bath and lounge - is the new symbol for a midlife
crisis, where do I sign up?
