View all threadsGood afternoon all,
I've posted a draft UCB version of the Citation Authority Schema on
the CollectionSpace wiki at
http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/Citation+Authority+Requirements+of+UCB+Collections.
I've tried to incorporate changes to the schema that will accommodate
the requirements of both the SMK and UCB HAVRC collections as posted
on the wiki. I've also included an excel workbook that includes the
schema, a visual mockup, some suggested controlled list values, and
different data examples on separate worksheets to give some idea how
the model might be used. Please take a look and feel free to post
your comments to the wiki or to the Talk list.
Cheers.

Hi Jan,
This looks really great! This Citation Authority will meet all our requirements here at SMK.
Great job! We can't wait to see it work in CollectionSpace.
Cheers,

Thanks Kim! Glad to hear we're on the right track. Now all you need
is a pair of repeating fields in the catalog record with with either
the brief citation or full citation and a citation qualifier of either
"cited in" or Illustrated in" and you'll be good to go! HAVRC will
probably use this too.
Cheers.
