Hi everyone, First, if you are a member of NCL and based in the D.C. area, you may be interested in attending the CEF “budget book” release briefing Thursday on the Hill. Secondly, as you’ll see from the flyer attached, we had arranged for Amanda Voce, representing NCL member the Alabama Association for Public Continuing and Adult Education (ALAPCAE) to be our adult education speaker. However, due to a family emergency, Amanda is not going to be able to be there. So once again, I need your help: 1. If you know of a program director/teacher/learner FROM ALABAMA who might be willing at the last minute to fly up here to be our panel representative, please let me know ASAP, with contact info. I’ll go back to my leads as well. 2. Plan B is invite someone from the DC/MD/VA area. I know people here that might be willing, but if you have anyone to specifically recommend, please let me know ASAP.
