REMINDER:  You're invited to join Shunpike for a FREE drop-in business clinic this Thursday, August 13th, from 4:00-8:00 PM!  The clinic will be held at Suite 133, which is located at 703 Pacific Avenue on the second floor.  Come meet Michelle Chiachiere, Deputy Director and development expert, and Ellen Whitlock, Partner Artist Program Manager to discuss your arts endeavors and learn more about how Shunpike works with arts groups and organizations.

What is Shunpike? Shunpike helps all kinds of small and mid-sized arts groups better manage the business aspects of art. In doing so, they aim to create a vibrant and diverse local arts community where arts groups of all sizes can thrive. They currently work with dozens of Seattle-area arts groups - theatre, dance, literary and otherwise - to solve problems and set up lasting organizational systems. They work closely with each of their clients to customize solutions in finance, organizational management and arts administration because they understand how hard it is to do business while you're busy making art. Shunpike is now branching down to Tacoma to serve the South Sound community. For more information about Shunpike, visit www.shunpike.orghttp://www.shunpike.org/.
