Would love to take one of them, however we already have 2 newfs in our small house. . .
Hopefully they will find a home. I sent this over to the Canine Club and Spa where my 2 go to doggy day care. Sometimes they know of customers (it happened recently) who are looking for a newfie.

Subject: [NewfLink] Update on Northstar Newf Rescue
In September there were three dogs we were trying to place (that I know about) and the good news is that two of them are now in their new homes!
Still waiting for a home is “Bear” who has one thing going against him – he is 8 years old.
He also is more or less the ideal Newf – patient, friendly, gets along with everyone (including, kids, other dogs and cats) and barely barks except for a soft woof if he needs to go out.
Today Janey Shaddrick got a call from an elderly couple in Spooner Wisconsin who have a 6 year old female Newf mix and an 8 year old pure bred Newfoundland looking for a home ASAP (pretty much the way it always is).
Unfortunately, because she still has Bear, Janey really does not have a place to hold on to these two new dogs.
So if any of you knows someone who might be a good home for Bear, or can think of any other way to help, including letting anyone who might be interested know to give a call, please do so.
