It’s the new year which has us hankering for a little writer’s prompt to serve as muse heading into the new season.

Since 2023 is Year of the Water Rabbit Creative Colloquy is looking for flash fiction, poetry or micro essays that explore themes of peace, hope & longevity.

Selected stories will be published on the Creative Colloquy platform and be printed and hidden around the South Sound for our CC Message in a Bottle project in the month of February (just in time to play along with this year's Rogue Monkeyshines).

• Due to size constraints of the vessel, we recommend word count not exceed 500 words.
• Format all work using MS Word (doc or docx), 12pt., double-spaced serif font. (Times New Roman, Courier, Garamond)
• Title only on the work.
• Do NOT put your name or contact info on the work, please place it in the cover letter so the Editorial Committee can maintain a blind submission process.
• A short bio written in third person must be submitted at time of submission in the cover letter. Please also provide preferred pronouns i.e. she/her/hers or they/them/theirs.
