Press release from Twin Vee:
Twin Vee offers 'serious' boat
FORT PIERCE -- Twin Vee Inc., North America's largest builder of
power catamarans, has introduced its most highly developed boat yet,
a 29-foot, computer-designed model blending smooth ride and smooth
lines into a tournament-capable fishing machine.
The 29 Center Console promises to become one of the fast-growing
company's signature models because of the many features designed with
serious fishermen in mind. Company president David East said buyers
will enjoy a design that was based on the wildly popular 26 Center
Console and enhanced with important, new capabilities.
Influencing the new design at every stage were the needs of fishermen
who want the best vessel possible for reaching the best fishing
spots, regardless of the distance and weather - and at the best price.
The 29 Center Console is capable of 55+ mph, meaning more time
fishing before tournament check-in deadlines or reaching dockside
before dusk. And with a 200 + gallon fuel capacity, the boat is able
to reach distant bluewater fishing holes with plenty of gas to spare.
Twin, 200-horsepower, four-stroke outboards are standard with
250-horsepower models available.
Because of an enlarged beam and longer hull, cockpit space has
increased to more than 80 square feet, meaning no more crowding when
double-hookups occur and fishing buddies have to help with the
landings.
With more than 60 square feet of deck space in front of the console,
the boat has plenty of room for multiple fishermen. A casting
platform is integrated into a U-shaped seating area that includes dry
storage.

By the by, when I pass along press releases that I cross my desk, I
post them for what they are, publicity releases from power catamaran
builders, designers, dealers and others which represent the viewpoint
of those same builders, designers, dealers and others. The discerning
reader may need to apply a grain of salt.
I post the releases for general information purposes, without any
verification or endorsement, and clearly indicate the source. If you
disagree with the subject matter of a release, or have other
comments, please post a message to the List.
