VUECREST HALLOWEEN PLANS ARE IN THE WORKS...Stay Tuned
YOUR Opportunity to Become a Vuecrest HOA Director
As we plan for the Community Association Annual Meeting in November we’re looking for a few neighbors to fill the upcoming vacancies on the Vuecrest HOA Board as terms are completed this year. We also have potential slots for Committee Chairs.
The effort involved in these positions is generally 3 hours for our monthly meeting (now held remotely) and 2-3 hours per month answering emails, viewing properties, etc. If you are dedicated to the welfare of your community (as a whole) and your neighbors (as individuals), this may be a good place for you. You will be surrounded by HOA veterans who will teach you the ropes.
Please contact directors@vuecrest.net mailto:directors@vuecrest.net with your questions and willingness to serve. Also, feel free to submit the name of a community member who you feel might be a good candidate who will be contacted to discuss the details of the opportunity. We look forward to working with you!
Upcoming NOVEMBER Vuecrest Annual Meeting
Look for a correspondence in the mail from the Vuecrest HOA with your opportunity to vote for the next annual budget and ballot choices for new HOA Directors. Most likely the annual meeting will need to be held remotely, so be sure to check next month’s newsletter for how to link into the meeting.
A Successful Ice Cream Social (...when we can’t be social)
Over two years ago the Chair of the Vuecrest Social Committee suggested that we change the annual Vuecrest Picnic into an old fashion Ice Cream Social. Little did she know, how “on target” she would be in the year of 2020. It looks a little different now, but it seems like a lot of you agree...ice cream somehow makes everything better! Your Vuecrest HOA continued to spread happiness with yet another Ice Cream Truck event in September that was even more well attended than our first one! Thanks for participating and thanks Vuecrest HOA for finding a way to replace our annual summer gathering with a fun event that even works during a pandemic.
Vuecrest Light Posts
You’ve probably seen the Paintworx vans in the neighborhood. The lamp post cleaning and repainting project is moving swiftly. They have already hit the halfway mark and the posts are looking fabulous. Funny, how you don’t know how yucky something looked until it is spit-shined-and-polished! Make sure you give them a “thumbs up” as you pass them. Also, a big “thank you” to all the time and effort the HOA put into getting this project off the ground! It wasn’t easy.
Neighbors Who Make Us Smile!
A grateful “HAPPY SHOUT OUT” to the owners on Belfair Road who agreed to remove two view blocking trees for their neighbors! Thanks for realizing that we’re all in this together. Our protected views are completely interdependent upon each other. Thanks for keeping the view in Vuecrest! Check out the before and after pictures. Thanks for making a difference.
Are You Leasing a Home in Vuecrest?
If you are planning to lease your Vuecrest home, be sure to know all the rules. They can be found on www.Vuecrest.net. Click “Library" on the left hand side and scroll down to the "Rental Property Policy". Here are some of the highlights you’ll find along with the “Property Information Form” to fill out and send to the HOA.
Vuecrest Rental Property Policy
3.1. Notification Needed
Upon an Owner’s intent to Rent or Lease a Property, the Owner should immediately notify the Directors of the
Community. Only Members in Good Standing may Rent or Lease a Property.
3.2. Contact Information Needed

• The Management Company (if any) responsible for the Property.

Vuecrest Community Association
Attn: Secretary
PO Box 312

3.3. Adherence to Protective Restrictions Needed
All Occupants of Rented or Leased properties should abide by the Protective Restrictions of the Vuecrest Community Association. The Protective Restrictions are attached to the deed of each Property in the Vuecrest plat. Copies may be viewed online at the Vuecrest web site.
• Owners should include a provision that Occupants abide by the Protective Restrictions as part of the Lease or Rental Agreement for the Property.
• Occupants should be provided a copy of the Protective Restrictions upon move-in.
• Occupants should abide by the provisions of the Protective Restrictions of the Community at all times.
• Occupants are encouraged to attend Community functions and participate in Community projects, but only Owners may vote on Community business, per our By-Laws.
• Protective Restrictions issues at a rented/leased Property may be addressed via the Good Neighbor process, and the Community may bring issues to the Management Company and/or Owner as well.
• Any time a Property is vacant, the Owner or Management Company of the Property should ensure that the maintenance of the home and yard is consistent with the provisions of the Protective Restrictions of the Community.
Cars parked on the streets of Vuecrest for over 24 Hours
Q: What can you do when you see a car parked on a Vuecrest street for more than 24 hours?
A: Any violation can be reported via the MyBellevue City Service App. The mobile app doesn’t replace any current methods (i.e. phone, web, etc.) that customers use to report issues, it just provides another method for them to use. MyBellevue includes a new back-end system, so users who have requested services before must create a new login. Sorry about that, it’s just technology.
MyBellevue City Service App
MyBellevue is a mobile app that makes it possible for people to request services and access city news, jobs and social media easily with their smart phones and other portable devices.
