Looking to learn about bees? Want to make a native-beehive with your children? Perhaps your just resonating with that pollination frequency. Whatever it is, the Blossom and Bee Festival happening this Saturday the 13th has what you’re looking for.
The festival will be going on from 1-4 pm at the Gallucci Learning Garden, located at the corner of 14th and G Street. Local organizations will have information regarding plants and pollinators, and activities like seed-bomb and beehive building will be happening throughout the day. At 2pm, a local beekeeper will give a talk about urban beekeeping, and answer any questions you have about flying friends.
Come for the bees, stay for the good food and music, and leave with a purpose to promote pollinators.
Peace bee with you
