Hi there Poets (and all other art lovers as well), *Voices of Tacoma: A Gathering of Poets*, a project partly funded by the Tacoma Artists Initiative Program, is offering several opportunities for you to get involved in our local literary community. The goals of this project are simple: - To build on our local literary community's existing strengths (diversity, collaboration, grit, persistence) - Help guide poets/writers and create new paths to follow as they work towards reaching their true potential (whether they submit their work to the anthology or not) - To amplify the #VoicesOfTacoma and to celebrate the results Because there are so many opportunities to get involved this year with the project (with more in the works), it’s hard even for me to keep track of them all. To help keep things straight I have attached an overview of events planned for the remainder of the year. I am also attaching the Autumn Poetry Workshop flyers for you to share.
