LaTasha ________________________________ Dear Members and Supporters, We are pleased to announce that recruitment for the position of Executive Director of the HBCU Library Alliance (HBCULA) is currently underway. The position was posted on our website and several job sites, including ALA and Higher Ed, on June 16, 2025. The deadline for applications is July 11, 2025, and we have already received many applications. The Search Committee will consist of the entire Board of Directors, serving as a committee of the whole. We are also considering the inclusion of an additional individual who is not on the Board, pending confirmation. Supporting this process will be Marvelyn Thomas, our Human Resources consultant, along with our Interim Executive Director, Loretta Parham. We aim to finalize the selection and announce the next Executive Director of HBCULA early in the fall academic semester.
