With the help of their statewide artist community, Artist Trust has re-envisioned their GAP Awards for the 2021 grant cycle. Here are some of the details: * In 2021, GAP is Grants for Artists' Progress (GAP), an unrestricted hybrid-need-and-merit-based regional award for BIPOC artists of all disciplines working across Washington State. * Funding will be evenly distributed across five Washington State regions: West, Puget Sound, North Central, South Central, and East; $15,000 is allocated for each region. * Applicants will only be considered with other artists that live in their region. * Artist Trust will allow for the option of video or audio application materials. * The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 7 11:59 p.m. PST.
