Tacoma Wayzgoose, an annual celebration of letterpress, book arts, and
all things printmaking returns this weekend for its 18th year!
Here's what on tap for the weekend:
-Over 40 artists from Tacoma and beyond selling their art and offering
free demonstrations (some artists are Saturday-only, so be sure to check
the schedule on the website)
-11 steamroller artists, including four local high schools and six
brand-new-to-Wayzgoose artists! Artists carve 2x3 foot pieces of linoleum
and we use a steamroller as a printing press!
-Screen printing with Shirt the City! http://www.shirtthecity.com Bring
a blank shirt or tote bag (or buy one there) and get a cool design printed
on it (Saturday only)
-Lots of good vibes as we celebrate Tacoma's musical history through our
theme: Make Some Noise!
*-Civic Roasters *will be on hand Saturday to keep you nice and
caffeinated!
-A new location: the main branch of the Tacoma Public Library!
If you've been to Tacoma Wayzgoose before, you know how much fun it is. If
you haven't, you'll just have to come see for yourself!
