Over the last week I launched my current project and moved her to another,
nearby yard to continue work.  The writing was on the wall, it's going to take
a while to finish her and the move was to save some money.

It was fun to see her in the water and valuable to observe trim and her
flotation level above DWL.

The average height of DWL above the water was 10.75".  At a pounds per in
immersion rate of 1788.16# per inch of immersion,  I have another 19,222.72
pounds to add before I submerge her to her 56,000# DWL.  This would include
fuel, food, stores, plus some materials to finish her as well as toys and
personal items.

A small budget keeps a boat light.  :-)

A couple new pics on my (dormant) blog at ;

Beneath the boat in one pic you can see another Malcolm Tennant I am
repairing.

Bill
