Kennedy Creek SalmonTrail is a great place to view spawning salmon! Visit
spsseg.org for directions and more information. On Saturday Nov 17th we are
hosting an Open House where Taylor Shellfish will provide clam chowder,
coffee, and a few other goodies by donation. We will have a few extra
educational items on hand. Please come join us and learn about one of the
most important species in the Pacific North West.

It’s that time of year again! The time when leaves start to turn, kids go
back to school, and salmon return to their natal rivers to spawn. We’d like
to welcome everyone (students, guests, volunteers, and docents!) back to
the Trail for another great season of salmon viewing! Please read on for
important dates, scheduling a group visit, and docent information.

A visit to Kennedy Creek is free but donations are much appreciated! Just
look for the fish mail box by the welcome station. $7 supports 2 student
visits.

This year the Trail will be open to the public on weekends starting Saturday
November 3rd through Sunday November 25th, plus 11/12 and 11/23, from 10am
to 4pm. Stay tuned for information on our first annual Trail Open House!
One weekend in Mid November we will have a hot food and drink booth for
Trail Visitors! The Trail will be open to school groups Monday through
Friday starting October 29th through November 26th.

We’ll see you at the Trail!
