Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end  time: 13:00:00
Total observation time: 5 hours

Official Counter:        Chris Burris

Observers:        Matt Oswald

Visitors:
Thanks to Chris B. and Matt O. for doing today's count.

Weather:
In a word... WINDY! Strong WSW then SW winds 40kph to 50kph for the day.
Lots of cloud cover to start then breaking out to about 20% and finally
totally closing in again. There was also occasional light rain.

Raptor Observations:
A total of 48 raptors tallied for the day... with the highlight 3
Peregrines (at 10:17am(HY), 10:25am(Ad) and 12:23pm(Ad), respectively). Not
much else was moving, raptor-wise, after the initial “rush hour”...
just a few N. Harriers (6) and Sharpies(7), a couple each of Bald Eagles
and Merlins and some good Am. Kestrels (28).

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors included: Canada Goose, Mallard, Wood Duck, Ring-billed Gull,
Herring Gull, American Crow, Blue Jay American Goldfinch, Northern Flicker,
Mourning Dove, European Starling, Song Sparrow, and Yellow-rumped Warbler.

Predictions:
Gusty W winds are forecast which will slow any migration and there's also
the chance of rain in the afternoon.
